------------------------------------------------------------------ LIVE ACT ----------------------------------------------------

13th Monkey (Digital Tech Fractures / Industrial / Acid / Techno – Hands Records - Lüneburg)

Redefining The Paradigm Of Bang is the best description for this 100% club compatible Techno-Industrial project by the two sound artists and producers Andreas "Thedi" Thedens and Harm Bremer. While the roots of this project can be found in the quiet and friendly city of Lüneburg, the two albums and the countless live shows demonstrate that there is more than simply calm and beautiful landscapes and curly black haired sheep called "Heidschnucken" in the Lüneburg Heath. If you dive deep under the surface you will find yourself in the middle of a wired rebellion, driving the processor cores past maximum and decoding sonic sedatives. As the matrix around you collapses, a pervading white noise summons you back to reality. There, in the middle of the action, you can also find the 13TH MONKEY - an evil construct on the loose, straight out of the illusory world of the collapsing matrix, armed with an array of tabletop hardware instruments and an impressive amount of cables. Right in a moment when you listen to the first bars of the style that is self hailed as Digital Tech Fractures, you know that those bass-driven and pounding Tech-Industrial tracks with distorted and screaming acid-like 303-sounds will not only go straight to your dancing legs but also clear your mind and blast your head off - Monkey Bites!

NEKROBOT (Sabbat - Athens/ Berlin)
Nekrobot comes from Athens where, being a member of Jinx Entertainment collective, he was spinning minimal and synth punk in underground clubs around the city for the last seven years. On the same time he was editing independent short films and experimenting with visual and audio collage, continuously deconstructing and distorting reality on the wrong side of entertainment. Arriving in Berlin, he became resident at Sabbat party, doing unusual mixes of harsh electronic sounds. Nekrobot wishes to express disorder in sound and vision.

Neue K (Tiq – Berlin)

His djset is rigid, cold, rough-edge, blind-alley, where the drum machine beats always like a metronome. No matter if the sound comes from the past, the present or the future, he is more and more devoted to select the best minimal-synth-wave music, so called "quadratic wave". Quadratic-wave is a word game and a concept from sound physics too, but the best way to catch it is to dance it, and the best way to dance it is by being concentrated and confined in a quadrangle as Die Tödlich Doris sang in their song Tanz im Quadrat: "Wir tanzen im Viereck, wir tanzen konzentriert".

Unhuman (Lärm-Alarm-Lärm/ Species – Athens, Berlin)

Unhuman is a noise project founded in 2012 in Athens Greece by realising his first tape Emperor Black from species records. First release party was an art exhibition at Junk records with a contact - piezo mic system run through amplifiers and creating an outstanding loud feedback. Guest at this exhibition could demonstrate noise by themselves by walking inside the creepy room. He also realised a split tape at Red Venice Records with To The Lovers Farewell. Now he is back on studio recording for his first 12" vinyl. The Unhuman project is all about darkness and misanthropy. A radical extreme sound with drone and rhythm influences mixed with the worst human's nightmares. As a dj he spins industrial, power noise and hard tech mixing with extreme and loud frequencies using his sound engineering knowledge. Most of the dj sets can be also characterized as live sets. He is the founder and co-organizer of Lärm-Alarm-Lärm and member of species.

Al Niklaus (Lärm-Alarm-Lärm – Paris, Berlin)

He is using his particular interest of psychiatric symptoms, body and Brain limits. Noise and Industrial music makes him thinking about those mental diseases. He’s amazed by making a correlation between those hard understanding troubles and the disturbing/extreme music. Stroboscopes or Informatics/Electronics processes are for him close to the Epilepsy disease. translated by an electric chaos inside the brain, very similar to Noise Music (musical chaos). He decided to join the Lärm – Alarm - Lärm team as a co Organizer and Dj by adding his specific point of view.

DISCORDANT

In this age of rehashed motifs and overused signs, young photographer Emanuele Sturlese a.k.a. Discordant is showing with determination how can we find constantly expanding spaces. With humble creativity and suggestive brilliance, the artist finds himself in tension between pictorial ravine and photographic datum. Between figurative and still life. Between the stasis of an industrial landscape and the aseptic aesthetics of bodies in motion. Never decadent, never glossy, never, never pandering. Ethereal and polished; Disruptive and strong. Politically out of line. Politically incorrect, without rhetorics. Through codes in free fall, towards a disciplined, rigorous candour. Now working as resident photographer in Homopatik and Drone Berlin.
