Niewątpliwie jednym z najważniejszych i rewolucyjnych zespołów goth metalowych był i jest Moonspell już od początku ich kariery (Under the Moonspell), albumu debiutanckiego (Wolfheart). W 1996 supportowali Type Of Negative po wydaniu Irreligious.
Już wkrótce – 21 kwietnia – wydają kolejny album – będzie on zatytułowany Memorial.
