Artoffact Records wydaje składankę 3CD z materiałem prezentującym wspaniały talent zespołów występujących na tegorocznej edycji Kinetik Festival który odbędzie się w dniach 12-17 maja 2010 roku w Montrealu. Na kompilacji znajdą się między innymi utwory takich wykonawców jak: Combichrist, Leaether Strip, Fixmer / McCarthy (Nitzer Ebb), 16 Volt, Imperative Reaction, Covenant, Unter Null, Hocico, Decoded Feedback, Synapscape, Melotron, i Faderhead.
Kilku artystów (Caustic, The Gothsicles, Ivardensphere, Destroid) dostarczy nagranych specjalnie na potrzeby festiwalu miksów a gwiazdy formatu VNV Nation, Combichrist, Soman, Feindflug, Fractured i Ravenous wzbogacą ten zbiór swoimi remiksami. Ponad 50% utworów umieszczonych na tej składance to rzadkie, często ekskluzywne i po raz pierwszy wydane na CD piosenki. "Kinetik Festival vol.1" została wyprzedana w przeciągu kilku tygodni.
