Inertia play a show at Festival Darkland Fire VIII to celebrate their 25th anniversary, doubled with an album release party for their brand new output "Dream Machine" (Metropolis Records).Inertia brand new single "Only Law" was in septemberin the Deutsche Alternative Charts at number 3.
The band will be performing brand new material and greatest songs from previous albums.
Inertia are an Electro-Industrial-Rock-Dark Pop outfit from London. Formed in 1992 by Killing Joke Keyboard player Reza Udhin. After an extensive period with other industrial acts, Reza decided to concentrate on a solo project which brought together elements of Industrial and Techno to form something quite different to anything in the scene at that time, following several name changes, Inertia was born.

Latvian Band "Zāle" (Grass) is an uprising cult band in Latvia, its first album "Viņa" / "She" was widely appreciated by latvian cultural professionals and received a Golden Microphone 2015 - in the nomination of folk/world music (Golden Mic is something of an annual prize given to the best musicians of Latvia every year).
The Band is still very young - approximately 3 years old - but is
already gathering vast following among latvians, lithuanians and folk
from other countries respectively.
The band has played biggest festivals in Latvia as well as in
Lithuania (post-folk/darkwave/neofolk festival Menuo Juodaragis for
instance).
Zāle's music is an amalgamation of sacred chants, medieval scent,
gothical darkness and ephemeral lovesong all in one. Also oriental
elements are included in the music. Band's second album was also nominated for the Golden microphone 2016!

Madjanek Waltz is a death folk band formed in December 2001 when they released first two-song single. They are one of the most notable projects in the Russian post-industrial scene. At first it was just a studio project, and in 2004 they played the first concert.
Since 2001 Madjanek Waltz released 10 albums (not to mention singles, EPs and compilations).
As for the aesthetics of Madjanek Waltz: ancient Greeks divided the existence into chaos and cosmos (harmony, order of the world, symmetry). The human, the way the Greeks saw him, was a microcosm, the universe was macrocosm, and the relations between them were the ones of resemblance. Thus, from the Greek philosophy there arises a thesis of ontological origin of beauty, beauty as a property of being. But band is interested in the beauty of non-being. The esthetics of non-existence!
And the main goal of their music is to help listener to distract himself from different problems and responsibilities that others try to fuck him up with. To concentrate on what you need and do what you will. To catch a certain mood, when the so called reality stops dominating upon you, and really important things take the first place: hangover chill, gloomy summer day, the thunderstorm over the lake.

Oudeis is a music project that doesnt concentrate on one single genre. Instead, it is about exploring all the various electronic music genres existing at the moment.
Oudeis's motto has been, for a while now, "experimental everything" which explains all the different approaches production-wise. Oudeis makes music that feels right to him at the moment.
For the most part, the genres Oudeis covers can be whittled down to industrial, dubstep, breakcore, IDM, but he likes to experiment with different sounds as well.
Oudeis has released most of his EPs and LPs on "Trash Can Dance" label, but also on "Murmure Intemporel", "Dhatura", "Agnost1k Records" and "Radioactive Wastelands" labels.

Forgotten Sunrise Syndrone is 80% improvisational and atmospheric ambient/drone/tribal project of Forgotten Sunrise.
While Forgotten Sunrise in their regular form are carefully curated and served on plate, with the extension Syndrone they paint a soundscape led by feelings and intuition straight under the eyes of listeners. FSs shift their focus on unified atmosphere and sounds as structures and melodious music. Initially, Syndrone came into being through jamming at rehearsals. It then developed into an idea to let imagination run wild in public. The keywords are Dark-ambient, Drone, Tribal, Shoegaze.

Cult Of Slaves is a Folk Noir / Outlaw Country / Doom Folkband based in Antwerp, Belgium. They play haunting murder ballads inspired by the occult, demonic possession, death, guilt and exile. In their songs, the band's original founder, songwriter, and frontman Jan Van Woensel commemorates tragically failed love, past crimes and his life on the road. Their unique funerary style is both melancholic and intens. Among its followers, Cult of Slaves is often called the Hades of the singer-songwriters.

Mr.Garfield is an Estonian jazz / electro / synthwave sole artist prodigy. Formed in Tartu in 2000 and was first recognized from legendary Estonian music figure Raul Saaremets who released Mr.Garfield first single in August 2004 under Umblu Records. The album called " Vibration 3" was highly accepted and praised by many musicians in Estonian underground scene. In 2012 "Nights" EP was released with cooperation from Estonian music label Eesti Pops.
Throughout the years Mr.Garfield has tried many different styles like minimal tech house and synthpop to beautiful and pure piano music.
Mr. Garfield performances is recognized with crazy funky solos with synthesizer and he has performed almost every club and cafe in Tartu.
Mr. Garfield emphasizes harmonics and chord progressions in order to bring out the audacity of the music.
Also Mr. Garfield has produced music for video games, tv commercials etc.
Lately Mr. Garfield is dived into his roots – sythpop, nowdays we call it sythwave. Most influencal bands are Depeche Mode, Jan Hammer, Camouflage, Kraftwerk, Mitch Murder and almost all 80-s synthpop and early electronic music.

A timeless time-singer and bard of the 1960s whose songs have inspired and enchanted several generations. It was Tepandi who set to music poems by the Estonian exile author Karl Ristikivi, 'importing' his lyrics into the then Soviet Estonia, as well as poetry by such Estonian poets as Paul-Eerik Rummo, Jaan Kaplinksi and Hando Runnel.
Despite his long creative activity, the old master has released only two albums – Tõnu Tepandi laulud (Songs by Tõnu Tepandi) in 1982 as a vinyl that has turned almost transparent from listening in many homes and the CD Kõlakoda (Band Shell) in 2003 with newer songs.
At the Darkland Fire festival the old master Tõnu Tepandi will take out his 12-string old friend again and play an one hour concert of all his best known songs. Melancholic songs and powerful singing give every reason to call Tõnu Tepandi the grand old man of Estonian dark folk. He played emotional and moving set at main concert of festival 4th edition.


For the 8th winter now the Neofolk/Dark folk /Industrial Music Festival DARKLAND FIRE is inviting all music lovers to Rakvere in December. As a unique event of its kind in the nearby region, the dark music festival Darkland Fire offers a perfect opportunity to discover various shades of dark folk and industrial music, exciting symbioses and enchanting soundscapes from some of the most outstanding representatives of their genres.

Juba kaheksandat talve ootab rahvusvaheline butiikfestival Darkland Fire kõiki muusikasõpru detsembris Rakverre.
