Ego Likeness łączy mocne żeńskie wokale z elementami  takich gatunków jak electronica, darkwave, trip hop i rock. "The Compass EPs" stanowi kolekcję czterech limitowanych EP-ek, "South", "West", "North", i "East" wraz z ich całą zawartością, a do tego obejmuje 3 utwory z singla "Lowest Place On Earth". Pakiet w postaci dwóch płyt CD jest porywającym dokumentem brzmienia zespołu i ewolucji,  jaka nastąpiła w muzyce grupy w okresie pomiędzy wydaniem albumu "Breedless" a wydawnictwem "When The Wolves Return".
